Graduated Sanctions: Effective Intervention Strategies for Addressing Delinquency

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), U.S. Department of Justice, in conjunction with The Juvenile Sanctions Center, is sponsoring a concurrent national satellite broadcast and Internet cybercast on the issue of Graduated Juvenile Sanctions, to be broadcast live from the 2005 National Conference on Juvenile Justice in Orlando, Florida. This live broadcast will allow viewers to participate in a town hall meeting with a focus on helping communities respond to youth and families in need through Graduated Sanctions.
Broadcast Objectives
- Highlight the efforts of OJJDP and the Juvenile Sanctions Center in Graduated Sanctions
- Provide examples of community efforts to improve collaboration, intervention strategies and public awareness surrounding the issue of Graduated Sanctions
- Promote available Graduated Sanctions resources
