Security is never the total answer,
Most Schools do not need metal detectors.
Cameras are ok as long as not announcing the
message of Big Brother always looking over
your shoulder.
Realistically a camera only gives the news
great footage to show of the incident.
We have numerous -- live video of crimes
shows. DOES THIS HELP??
School handbooks have doubled, tripled in size
Rules and ZERO Tolerance does not consider
personal suffering.
We need to deal with people not categorize
them and call them "THOSE GUYS"... They are
someone's neighbors.
Interagency communication, information sharing
and working together to make the community
better one person as a time is our best hope.
