Dr. Davidson,
I volunteer with a program here in Corpus Christi, TX that provides an optional "parent discussion group" for the parents of juveniles who were given community service as an alternative sentence by the juvenile court system. The program I help with is called Project Jumpstart (a program of the Volunteer Center) and it is basically a two-hour orientation to help the kids fill out applications and such for their community service...while the kids are in the orientation, their parents have the option of attending an informal discussion group facilitated by a volunteer from the Texas Juvenile Probation Dept.
Hope this is of help to you.
Thanks.
