: High Tech Security will not work as a sole deterent. Effective school based prevention programs need to be the base for success in the schools. There is no "Silver Bullet". I have been involved in providing a continuum of services to several middle schools. We have been successful because we were able to effectivley use a cross systems approach to solving the problem. Collaboration is not just sitting at the table, but rather investing with manpower and being willing to be flexible and give something up.

Mr.Calhoun, I was wondering if you might be able to send me an outline on your program. For the past ten years I have worked as a youth advisor at Maximum Security Youth Prison in New York State. I am looking to head up a simular type of program to work with the schools in this part of our state. Any help that you can provide me would surely be appreciated. You may contact me at: DenTrav@mailcity.com Thanks!!
